This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies voyko.app uses, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law LSSI-CE and the Guide on the use of cookies of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, 2023).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage) or a web app's cache, do similar things, and for the purposes of this policy we treat them the same way.
2. Types of cookies we use
- Technical or necessary: they make the website work and let us provide the service you ask for (keeping you logged in, remembering your language, storing your cookie choice). They do not require your consent.
- Analytics: they let us measure statistically how the website is used in order to improve it. They are only set if you accept them.
- Affiliate: set by the third party (not Voyko) on its own domain when you click one of our affiliate links, so that it knows you came from Voyko.
We do not use behavioural advertising cookies or social media pixels.
In addition, Voyko counts visits and clicks on affiliate links without cookies. These are aggregated counters that do not write or read anything on your device and do not identify you, so they work even if you reject analytics cookies. We explain this in the privacy policy.

Google Analytics keeps the data linked to these cookies on its servers for the period configured in Voyko's account and may process it in the United States. More information in the privacy policy and in how Google uses data.
4. Affiliate cookies
Voyko takes part in affiliate programmes (see affiliates). Voyko does not set these cookies. When you click a link to Civitatis, Booking.com (directly or through the CJ affiliate network), GetYourGuide, Viator, IATI Seguros or Holafly (through the Impact network), you leave Voyko and it is that third party who, on its own website and under its own responsibility, may store a cookie (for Civitatis, linked to the aid parameter in the link) to know that you came from Voyko and pay us a commission if you book. That website will ask for its own consent according to its cookie policy.
5. How to accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit Voyko we show you a notice with the buttons Accept, Reject and Settings. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics cookies that we can delete from our domain. We will ask you again after 12 months.

6. Changes
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
